Butter Pecan Sauce
I was looking for a quick and easy sauce for ice cream this week. It needed to be quick as the company had already arrived and the only flavour of ice cream I had in the freezer was vanilla!
Now I am not a chocolate person. Don’t get me wrong, I like it, just not enough to always choose it. My preferance is caramel or butterscotch and always with nuts. It’s funny because when I was a kid, my Mom was like that. . .still is. . .only I liked to bother her about it and say things like what kind of person doesn’t like chocolate??? Oops, I’m eating those words now.
Anyway, this sauce is quick and gooey. Kind of like a pecan pie without the crust and the baking time.
Enjoy!
